Family Fun Night!

Tonight we decided to spend some time together as a family and just relax and enjoy each others company. Boy did we have some fun! Our evening started off at Chelsea's Childrens Clothes. Her sim is one of my most favorite places to visit in all of Second Life! You can clearly tell as soon as your feet touch the ground how much love and work went into her sim! It's a beautiful girly Victorian atmosphere that is like walking back into time! I absolutely love what she has done there and I love even more all of the neat activities she has there for people off all ages to enjoy!

We ate dinner in her fabulously adorable pink 50's themed diner! It was so nice to kick back with our family and just enjoy a meal without having to rush off to work on other tasks! We all enjoyed our wonderful hamburgers and french fries that were cooked to perfection! Amoroth and I enjoyed our dinner with our daughter Lizzie and our niece Lily! (Don't they look thrilled to be in our presence? However, I think we all had a great time chatting and enjoying a family meal.

After dinner we decided to continue our fun and head over to the bowling alley!!! Our family loves a good competition and we sure did have one! While bowling there were a couple times when we thought Amoroth and Lizzie were going to tie up the game! However, Lizzie ended up blowing us clean out of the water with her win! Way to go Lizzie! We had so much fun all together!

After bowling we headed down the hill to Chelsea's Ice Cream Parlor! It was so hard picking just one flavor, so of course we had to get a few different scoops! Chelsea has so many different flavors to choose from and wonderful areas to sit down and relax after a long day of fun!!!

While there are many, many other wonderful things to do at Chelsea's sim we decided to save the rest for another day of fun! We headed home so Amoroth could head back to work at the family sim we live at (see previous post for more information), and then Lizzie and I headed off to the Gacha Festival! I'd had never been to the festival before so it was nice to see all of the exciting items for sale! I think the best part of the festival was trying to guess which item you'd get out of the vendor!

After leaving the festival we headed home to end the evening together quietly. Lizzie, Amoroth, and I played a round of greedy before they headed off to count sheep. The entire evening was so wonderful to be able to spend some bonding time with our family. It's been so nice to have our niece Lily staying with us right now as we get to enjoy more one on one time with her and then as a whole family when Lizzie is able to join us. We certainly hope you enjoyed sharing a piece of our evening with us and we look forward to being able to share more wonderful things in SL with you that are family friendly. A special thank you goes out to the fabulous Miss Chelsea Grigg for making her sim so welcoming, I know we enjoyed our time there and can't wait to go back!

Sweet Dreams my darling, the day is done.
The moon is here to say goodnight to the sun.

Gather your blankets and climb into bed.
Close your eyes and lay down your head.

Rest for now with peaceful dreams,
Of twinkling stars and shining moon beams.

Sweet dreams my darling, sweet dreams my love,
Sweet dreams my precious gift from above

Being sick sucks! ... well sort of.

Being sick in RL is no fun.  Sniffles, sneezes tired and groggy.   Though, in SL it's no big deal.  In fact I think I look pretty dang cute as an SL sicky girl.  So I took some photos of me being SL sicky; it was a good excuse to show off my new room, and some cutie jammies!

Sickday Snappie #1
I just got this cutie jammies from Turducken, a store which i really love. Her clothes are default set to fit kids who use the tiny tot hud, but everything i've ever bought there works fine for us big kids too! :) I got a mug of soup to help me feel better here, an' my nose is even all red from being sick.  Check out my new room behind me too!  I made the rug and the lil' dressing curtain myself!

Sickday Snappy #2
Everyone who knows me knows that Peter Pan(da) is never far away from me.  When you are sick you especially need your special pal around.  Aren't these jammies the cutest, I really wish more designers would make dress type jammies.  My skin is actually a group gift from Sanu that came out yesterday called "sick again skin."  I dont really change my skin often, but I thought it was cute for a sickday.  The other thing about this picture is my chair.  I just got it a couple days ago and i'm so in love love love love with it.

Sickday Snappy #3
The best thing about being sick, well if there is a best thing about being sick, is mommy snuggles!!  Thank you mommy for keeping me close and taking care of me when i'm sick!  Oh! and some little birdie told Dolly that I like yellow, and >poof!<  there were these yellow Jammies in her store called "Lizzie."  Isn't that sweet!  I'm glad it's starting to not be so cold, so i can wear these jammies again!

Yup, being sick in Secondlife isn't so bad, and besides anytime I want I can just pretend i'm not sick!  (Well, if mom lets me get away with it!)

Off to get dressed and do some pretending!  See ya later!

Adorable 'Tiny Spaces'

Hey everyone! So today I want to share with you a newer store that Lizzie and I explored last night. (New house --- means new bedroom furniture for the kiddo's room!) This wonderful store is called  Tiny Spaces Childrens Furniture, it is owned by Brie Pinazzo and you can find her fabulous store here!

Fabulous Pillow Pals!
Brie takes RL ideas and transforms them into our wonderful world of Second Life. She ensures that her items are as detailed and beautiful as if you were to find them in a specialty store. Some of her cute items that are my favorite are her pillow pals! (Similar to the Pillow Pets found in RL!) They are at most 13 prims which is not a lot  by any means and they cost $75L

Rugged Outdoorsmen
And, let's not forget those little men we've got out there! Brie even has fantastic options for you! For only $1800L you boys can purchase the Rugged Outdoorsmen Bedroom Set --- and at a tiny prim amount of 83 prims!!!

Ava Bunk Loft
One of my absolute favorite bedroom sets that is available at Tiny Spaces is the Ava Bedroom Loft Set! It features a built in wall look with two beds and desks for those princess sisters or maybe your cousin or bff that stays overnight? Brie has put detail to every inch of this product to make it a sugaryplum perfect bedroom! The best part of this set is that it is only 91 prims and $2500L!!! That is a steal if you ask me!!!

Only 98 prims!
What about those fabulous days of playing outside in the warm sunshine? We all remember days of just sitting on our swingset and watching clouds go by right? Well, we can relive that with this amazingly adorable swing set - play yard! This set is available in two wood options (the dark is my favorite personally!)  So go on! Spend the only $1000L it costs for this and go play outside in the sunshine!

Now, you're probably wondering.... what do you do on days that it's not so sunny out and you just have had enough of your bedroom? How about your very own play house? You can play house and invite your friends over for a tea party or maybe a movie? Only 46 prims and at a great buy of only $500L!!!! Super adorable and a must have for any little princess!

Butterfly Bathroom
One last thing that I HAVE to tell you about! Do you love being able to roleplay the entire way with your family? Brie has amazingly adorable bathrooms that are kid sized and kid animation appropriate! And several options for both girls and boys! My personal favorite is the Butterfly Bathroom! It's only $2000L for the entire set and at a great prim count of 123 prims!!!

I certainly hope you will all check out this wonderful kids store! Amazing detail, great prices, and moderate prims --- you just can't go wrong there! Thank you to the wonderful Brie Pinazzo for letting me tell others about your fabulous store!

New & Exciting Family Sim!!!

Hey everyone! I am blogging to you today from Kawaii Isle! *Link to Kawaii Isle* Kawaii Isle is owned by several people including: Azrielle Beamish, Niiko Haiku, Amarajoy Alex, and Shanna McGillivary. They have made these two sims into a community that is very welcoming to families and children in Second Life.

Kawaii Isle has one of the coolest playgrounds I think I have ever seen in Second Life!

There are tunnels to crawl through, slides, flying airplanes above, a train, swings, and more! It is located  to the left of the fire department! So you know your kids or yourself will always be safe while playing!
Speaking of the fire department! The fire department is ran by Fire Chief Manning Ashbourne! He is first on call if something bad happens! ---- Like me cooking! Or for those silly cats that like to climb in trees and get stuck he is your guy to call!

Fire Chief Manning Ashbourne

Another great team to talk about is our Kawaii Police Department! Captain Bratt Riler and Officer Amoroth Silent make sure to keep the sims safe!  They patrol the areas on a regular basis to ensure that Kawaii remains PG friendly. These two men are also there to keep it friendly! They have no problem walking around and greeting new residents or lending a hand moving furniture in!

Meanwhile, there is much to do and see and so much more to come in the future! Azrielle and her fellow sim owners are working very hard to bring you a new and exciting experience! There is a school right now that is awaiting its grand opening! However that is waiting on one final thing to pass Fire Chief Manning's approval and it will be set to open!

Kawaii  Condos - 3 bedrooms each!

There are plenty of housing options available for you as well! *Extra prims are available beyond regular allowances for a small fee per prim -- please see Azrille Beamish for tier rates*
There are 7 out of 8 units open for move in immediatley! (No waiting for sim owners to be online to set something up for you!)
Some housing options available!

Another housing option!

Other fun things to check out (I don't want to bore you guys with my blabbering on!!!) are the bowling alley, laser tag, movie theater, a family friendly pg club, and so much more! Come and check out Kawaii Isle for more information and to see what is waiting for you! From our family to yours -- we can't wait to be your neighbor!
